Press Conference Roberto Rossellini Award

Presentation of the Roberto Rossellini Award to the press and media operators. The Event, which will take place in Rome in the context of the International Fest Roma Film Corto, at the House of Cinema and the “Roberto Rossellini” Cine TV Institute, from 14 to 18 December 2021 – aims to cross national borders, in thanks to the collaboration of the most important Italian cultural institutes operating in the world: in particular that of New York, which will assign cash scholarships to the winners, and will organize annual meetings and study conferences on the work and figure of Roberto Rossellini.

The Award is addressed to young emerging screenwriters, whose best screenplays will be rewarded with the funding and production of short-medium films. At the same time, it is proposed to follow up on the great Multimedia Encyclopedia of History Project, for which Roberto Rossellini devoted much of his energy, cultivating the dream of delivering it to the younger generations, faithful to his need for a concrete dissemination of knowledge and affirmation of an art really useful to man.
