Lino Capolicchio, consecrated in world cinema for the role of Giorgio in “The Garden of the Finzi-Continis” by Vittorio De Sica, shared with Cinecittà the unpublished pages of his personal diary, written in 1970 at the time of the events, that describe the making of the film – which this year marks 50 years since the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. The writing is accompanied by A long interview with the actor, his last interview – concluded a few weeks before his recent death (3 May 2022) -, who with the eye of current events returns to the days on set and in the hours of personal life of that period of his lively biography. The book is published by Cinecittà Spa and Bietti Edizioni.
