Following the Cannes meeting, promoted by the French authors, the second part of the important debate on the future of cinema – a dialogue on the role of the author in a global production system increasingly dominated by algorithms and on which artificial intelligence is also looming – is taking place on the Lido. The initiative brings together filmmakers from around the world to share the principles of the Déclaration des Cinéastes and is jointly organised by the Italian and French authors’ associations ANAC, 100autori, WGI, SRF and ARP.
